0z GFS: Guess what?

It trended west -- not a lot, but by golly, by the looks of the maps it checks in back up to about .3-.4 inches of liquid.

Where does that leave us?

Apparently, only the snowman knows.

You saw my call earlier today (felt like I needed to put a prediction out there before, you know, the event actually begins, which it will in about 12 hours).

It showed the highest probability being 1-2 inches
Next highest 1 inch or less
And next highest 2-4 inches.

I'll stick with that while confessing I really have no idea what is going to happen tomorrow -- those are nothing more than educated guesses.

Off to bed -- I'm going to try and get up early for an early morning update -- by then we should know how the event will unfold.

Thanks for all your support!

No need for the blah, blah , blah. Charlotte staions aren't saying 5", WBTV finally reduced their totals. My exact amounts will be posted shortly.

Too late snowman -- can't predict the score in the fourth quarter.

Not real sure how to take that comment Skip but my best guess is coming.

Getting the water is a very GOOD thing, we need it. Channel 3 is actually saying 3-6"( conservative according to them ) of snow while Channel 9 puts us in the lesser amount for precip, .25 inches. That surprises me as I hardly ever agree with Channel 9.

I still say the storm will be too far south of us for anything over an inch of snow, if that.

The above was stated erlier this morning and I will stick with that. So here are my totals of what to expect.

Dusting to 1" of snow - 67%

Nothing at all( rain included )- 30%

An upper level disturbance forms and gives us plenty - 2% Not much of a chance I know, but this is our only hope.

BTW, I also believe, as stated earlier, Charlotte see's the majority and gets somewhere beteen 3 and 5" of snow. York, SC will also get around the same.

If it were to happen you heard it from me first.

Time for the wait and see game.

You know I have to hand it to Skippy as he was the 1st out of any of the news sources that I check that was even mentioning snow this weekend. You know even a blind squrill can find an acorn every now and then.
