All over but the shouting

Radar upstream of us is thinning out -- it will get below freezing shortly, so whatever falls will stick, but I don't see much falling -- maybe a dusting.

Thanks for sticking it out all you observation posters -- I haven't looked closely at down the road, but the pattern remains decent so we'll have some more shots -- we'll get us a good one here soon, hopefully.

Sorry this one didn't pan out -- I sure wish it had.

Bill -- wasn't referring to your post -- was referring to the poster who predicted accumulating snow just like me and busted. His posts are no longer with us.

I haven't looked closely yet at Tuesday and Thursday -- I'll try to do that tonight and post an update.

Snowman,
I'm guessing you to be a former marine. Any chance I'm correct on that?

Skip,
How do you expect roads inShelby to be tomorrow?

No snow...and our cars are no good at ice skating! sheesh..I guess most of us are saying "There's no place like home" tonight..Like it or not!
At least those of us who live in the sticks! LOL Will be looking out for your synopsis of the upcoming week's weather models, Skip.

I would expect roads to be icy and dangerous -- esp. early.

Still light snow near Lattimore. Nothing laying on the ground. Oh well. It was fun watching it fall this afternoon. Hopefully, we'll see a nice big snow soon. I'll just keep on hoping.

Thanks, Skip, for keeping us posted all through the system. I know it takes long nights and early mornings....but we appreciate the work because I don't know of any other site like this one!
I'm with Amanda, and others here that are holding out hope for a beautiful (and measurable) snow soon!

Skip,
Do you think that churches will need to cancel their morning worship services / Sunday School? Will roads be bad? If they are wet tonight will they freeze? How low is it supposed to get?

Thanks again, Skip. I didn't get to hang around as much for this one, but I've been checking in. ;) Have a great week, all!

I am praying that the roads do not freeze over. The paper carriers will be out on the roads in the middle of the night and we travel secondary roads. They will be the worst.

On the roads -- I'm afraid I'm even less an expert on that than I am the weather -- I would just caution everyone to be safe -- test the roads or talk to folks who have traveled -- take it slow and sure.
